  • Uhm…yeahh…Never even thought of accupuncture, honestly. I can’t think up how pressure points would help back pain, so I would personally say a back massage. :) Asprin ONCE IN A WHILE helps, too, as well as being sure you have good posture and wear supportive shoes. Don’t stand or walk for far too long, and try not to let your backpack be too heavy. :)

  • Massage helps a lot. Also do you have a soft or firm bed? This actually has a lot to do with neck and back problems. The firmer the bed the better it is for you. This is because when you lie flat on your back it re-aligns itself which loosens the muscles. Your diet, exercise and sleeping patterns also have a factor in it. You should eat healthy, just follow the food pyramid, sleep for 8-10 hours and get some exercise. A brisk walk in the morning will suffice.

  • You probably should see a doctor because there could be a serious problem such as a disc or nerve damage. Acupuncture won’t hurt you, so you could try, but I would avoid massage because they could push on something & damage it more. Your Dr. may recommend psychical therapy for you.

  • i would say some good gentle massage and warm bath some stretching
and see a doctor someone has to tell you what you have. does your pain goes down to your feet or arms you need to see a doctor and do not push or pull.

  • Hi,

Back pain also known as Piriformis Syndrome. Mostly we can have it after a long sleep or hard work. Visit this site for more info about piriformis syndrome.

    Thanks

  • Could be the way you are sleeping. I believe sleeping on your back or stomach could give you back aches.
